About

Our Mission

Tales from the Tour (TFTT) is an Arizona Non-Profit Corporation. We are a Christian Outreach Ministry dedicated to helping people come to know the powerful message of Jesus Christ. We want everyone to understand how faith in Jesus can have a profound impact on our everyday lives. We sponsor large Christian Outreach events, men’s study groups, and golf outings. In the past we have also sponsored free showings of the Christian golf movie, “Seven Days in Utopia”.

Your Dollars at Work

TFTT started in 2006, and as the name implies, we began by using the game of golf as a platform for outreach. Each year since 2006 we have produced an outreach event on the Monday night of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, with professional golfers (PGA Tour, Web.com Tour, PGA Tour Champions, LPGA Tour, and professional Tour caddies have all been on stage) sharing their stories of life on tour and how their faith impacts every aspect of their lives. As far as we know, Tales from the Tour is the largest Christian outreach event on the PGA Tour. Over the years, these free events have attracted more than 10,000 people. Highlights and player interviews from each of our events are on our website. All of this is done through donations, and your help has made a big difference in thousands of lives.

Because God blessed us with success in Tales from the Tour, in 2013 we hosted our first baseball event -– Tales From the Dugout — during the 2013 Spring Training Baseball season in Arizona. Hosted by former MLB stars Tim Salmon and Aaron Boone, our first event featured inspirational stories from superstars of Major League Baseball, Albert Pujols, Josh Hamilton and Barry Zito. Almost 4,000 people attended the inaugural Tales From the Dugout at Grand Canyon University Arena.

TFTT believes in providing practical, Christian-based studies to help men with day to day issues familiar to all of us. To this end, we offer men’s study groups where our approach is to provide a safe, no-pressure environment, usually on a weekly basis, where guys can meet and “live life together” for about an hour. We discuss pertinent topics from a Biblical perspective. No pressure and no expectations. Say a lot, say a little, or say nothing at all. Numerous men are involved in these studies, but there is still room for you.

Thank you and God bless you.
